Re-entry and New Employee Testing
UA faculty and staff who are working remotely and who do not plan to return to campus before the end of the fall 2020 semester are not required to be tested for COVID-19 at this time. However, those planning to return to campus in any capacity before the end of the fall 2020 semester, and new employees, will need to be tested. There is no cost for initial re-entry testing and new employee testing.
Re-entry testing and new employee testing is available at Coleman Coliseum Monday through Friday on the following dates and times:
- Nov. 16-20: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Nov. 23-24: 9 a.m. to noon
Beginning Nov. 30, re-entry testing and new employee testing will be available at the East Campus Storm ShelterMonday through Friday at the following dates and times:
- Nov. 30-Dec. 4: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Dec. 7-11: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sentinel testing involves the random sampling of all asymptomatic students, faculty and staff to understand the underlying prevalence of infection on campus so we can respond promptly to outbreaks or increases in infection rates. Our goal is to test around 3% of the campus population each week.
