UA has established a COVID-19 Support Program to assist faculty, staff and students. Operated by the Institute for Rural Health Research of the College of Community Health Sciences, the program will:
- Answer questions, including medical questions via on-call nurse practitioners
- Refer individuals for necessary testing or treatment
- Assist with exposure notification for the UA community
- Provide re-entry testing for UA faculty and staff
All faculty, staff, and students must report COVID-positive test results and suspected exposure to the Support Program, and follow its instructions, including isolation and quarantine. The COVID-19 Support Program can be reached via the COVID Hotline by calling 205.348.CV19.
UA System has developed a GuideSafe Exposure Notification App and strongly encourages its voluntary and anonymous use. www.guidesafe.org
UA has significantly increased staffing of the CV19 Hotline to support demand.
