Return plan update, COVID Conversations and more – Aug. 13

Update Issued to UA Health and Safety Guidelines to Safeguard Campus Community

The University of Alabama’s plan to return to full operations is updated to include policies and directives designed to protect the health and safety of students and employees as classes and activities resume this fall. Those measures include mandatory face coverings on campus with limited exceptions, required daily check-ins via HealthCheck, and limitations on social gatherings.

Mask Up Email Signature Now Available

Cloth face coverings are required on campus, and are proven to limit coronavirus spread. Update your signature using UA’s signature generator to a new one that encourages our Bama family to wear masks.

Automatic Out-of-Office Email Replies

As the fall semester is set to begin, staff and faculty working from home should not use automatic out-of-office email replies, unless taking leave or otherwise not available to answer emails in a timely manner.

Be Wise, Sanitize

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, be wise and sanitize! It’s essential to frequently sanitize items you use often, such as phones, water bottles, keys, etc.
